The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities launched a new campaign to upgrade all decorative statues in public squares nationwide to elevate aesthetic standards in public spaces.

 

The campaign, with a long list of stops, started in the Upper Egypt Aswan governorate.

 

A group of restorers and experts from Aswan Antiquities Inspectorate started cleaning both statues of the late renowned Novelist Abbas El-Aqad and the internationally- renowned Egyptian Cardiothoracic Surgeon Magdy Yacoub.
