Egyptian Health Minister Hala zayed
Egypt’s Minister of Health Hala Zayed said that services offered to citizens through her ministry's administrative bodies and its affiliate sectors will be totally digitised ahead of transferring the ministry's premises to the New Administrative Capital.
The minister's remarks were made at a meeting she hosted to follow up on the measures needed to digitise all services and projects offered by the ministry as part of the state's digital transformation plan.
The head of the Minister's Technical Office Neveen El-Nahhas, the Minister's Adviser for Information Technology Aysam Salah and other ministry officials attended the meeting.
Health Ministry spokesman Khaled Megahed said the minister has ordered the acceleration of the digital transformation strategy and its application in all programs, services and projects which are being carried out by the ministry.
Zayed also discussed the progress achieved in the digitisation of the first phase of the universal health insurance system so as to ensure that hospitals, healthcare units and family medical clinics are electronically linked, added the spokesman.
