The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned on Sunday that a new wave of unstable weather conditions will start on Monday and peak on Tuesday, with some parts of the country due to experience rains and thunderstorms.
The EMA said the Egypt will witness on Monday medium to heavy rainfall reaching the level of a thunderstorm in some parts of the north-western coast, light to medium rainfall in some parts of the north-eastern coast and the middle of Sinai, and light to medium rainfall in some parts of the northern Nile Delta.
On Tuesday, Egypt will witness heavy rainfall to the level of a thunderstorm in some areas in Cairo and the Nile Delta, heavy rains and thunderstorms in some parts of the north-eastern coast and the middle of Sinai, light to moderate rainfall on the north-western coast, and moderate rainfall to thunderstorms in some parts of South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains.
North Upper Egypt will witness moderate rainfall to thunderstorms on Tuesday.
Marine activities will be disturbed on Tuesday in the Red Sea.
