Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired a ministerial meeting Sunday to end disputes between the ministries on their leased assets.

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has issued directions to solve such long-term disputes, the premier said during the meeting that brought together the ministers of supply, communications, housing, religious endowments, electricity, tourism, education, culture, local development, public business sector, transport, and agriculture, alongside representatives for the bodies concerned.

Minister of Religious endowments Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa said his ministry is coordinating with the justice ministry to form specified committees to settle disputes between government-affiliated agencies.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat briefed the attendees on the latest developments related to the digital system for governance and management of state assets.

The total number of leased assets listed in the system has reached about 1,087 million assets, he added.
