Egypt has strongly condemned a drone attack launched by Houthi militias against Riyadh oil refinery in Saudi Arabia, saying it is a new terrorist attack targeting the kingdom.

In a press release Friday, the foreign ministry said Egypt strongly denounced the sabotage practices that target Saudi security and stability, as well as oil supplies.

It reiterated Egypt's support for all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to preserve its security and stability.
