French Ambassador to Egypt Stephane Romatet on Sunday reopened the French Institute's library in Cairo's Mounira following a two-year renovation process.

Describing the library as a "new cultural space in Cairo", Romatet said the readers are invited to discover the new collection of books and services, as well as new spaces for reading, talking and sharing.

"The library contains a new collection of Arabic and French books you can see or borrow. New spaces for children and youth, as well as a cultural program suitable for all ages and special and diverse digital shows," the French Institute said in a statement.
