Egypt condemned on Tuesday the series of terrorist attacks in Niger on Sunday that resulted in the killing of at least 137 people in several villages in Southwestern Niger, the Egyptian foreign ministry said.
“Egypt expresses its sincere condolences to Niger and the families of the victims after the terrorist attack which targeted a number of villages in the Southwestern parts of the country and resulted in the death of more than one hundred innocent people,” the statement said.
“Egypt as a government and people express their extreme condemnation for this horrifying terrorist attack and stand in solidarity with Niger in facing all forms of terrorism, violence, and radicalism,” the foreign ministry added.
