Egyptian-Sudanese cultural forum to kick off in Khartoum Sunday

The event is part of a popular initiative to promote the friendly ties between the Egyptian and Sudanese people

The second edition of the Egyptian-Sudanese cultural forum will kick off on Sunday at Rashid Diab Arts Center in Khartoum.

The event is part of a popular initiative to promote the friendly ties between both the Egyptian and Sudanese people.

Plastic artists Galal Gomaa and Mohamed Abdel-Azim will take part in the event, which will be organised under the theme: "Lanes of friendship."

An art exhibition will also be set up to showcase some artwork of Egyptian visual artist Khaled Hafez.

The event will also include an art symposium to be moderated by Sudanese painter and visual artist Rashid Diab, along with a joint plastic arts workshop and a lecture on the important role played by arts and culture to consolidate Egyptian-Sudanese relations.
