Egypt detected 683 new coronavirus infections on Saturday, bringing total infections since last year to 199,364.
The health ministry reported 41 new deaths, bringing total fatalities to 11,854.
As many as 444 patients have been discharged from hospitals following recovery in the past 24 hours, bringing recoveries to 152,642.
