Al-Azhar condemns terror attack in Afghanistan's Logar province

Al-Azhar reiterated its complete rejection and condemnation of such heinous terrorist operations

Al-Azhar’s Grand Imam Ahmed El-Tayyeb has strongly condemned the recent terrorist car bombing in Logar province in Afghanistan.

The attack killed and injured dozens of victims, including secondary students.

In a statement on Saturday, Al-Azhar reiterated its complete rejection and condemnation of such heinous terrorist operations that target innocent people.

Al-Azhar underscored the necessity of rallying efforts to uproot terrorism, which poses threats to the security and stability of the world.

El-Tayyeb offered condolences to the Afghan leadership, government and people, and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
