Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, on Sunday agreed on the necessity for an agreement on a ceasefire between both Palestinian and Israeli sides immediately.
This comes as Shoukry received a phone call from the Qatari FM to discuss the latest developments in Palestine.
Both ministers also underlined the importance of having continuous coordination at regional and international levels to reach this agreement and achieve the interests of the Palestinian people.
The phone call is part of ongoing coordination made by Egypt with a number of countries to de-escalate military confrontation in the Gaza Strip and all Palestinian territories.
