Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi met on Friday with the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh.
Egyptian presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady posted a photo of the meeting on Facebook saying "the brothers meeting in Sharm El-Sheikh today between President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman.
"I was pleased to meet with my brother Prince Mohammed bin Salman," El-Sisi wrote on his social media accounts.
He added that the meeting focused on means to promote ties between Cairo and Riyadh, expressing his "permanent" pride in the "distinguished" relations at the official and popular levels.
The visions, he pointed out, concerning the regional and international issues of mutual interest were on the same page.
