Egypt contributes to fighting wildfire in Cyprus

The Egyptian aid is based on the directives of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the supreme commander of the Armed Forces, and in continuation of Egypt's support to friendly countries during disasters.
The Egyptian Armed Forces sent on Monday two helicopters loaded with advanced equipment to take part in putting out a huge forest fire that swept through the southern Limassol district of Cyprus.
The fire has destroyed houses and forced the evacuation of villages.

Coordination is underway with Cypriot authorities in that respect.
