Egypt reports 107 new coronavirus cases, 6 deaths on Monday

The daily number of Covid-19 cases officially registered in the country continues to rise slowly once again.

Egypt reported 107 new coronavirus cases on Monday bringing the total infection tally officially to 285,465 since the outbreak began in February 2020, said Health Ministry in its daily coronavirus update statement.

The health ministry also reported in its statement 6 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 16,625.

The statement added that 136 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 234,250 .
