Al-Ahram to organize international ‘Gouter’ event to blend civilizations, cultures on 25 September

With the participation of 17 countries through their embassies in Cairo, Al-Ahram's Nesf El-Donia magazine will organize the global cultural event “Gouter” on Saturday, 25 September, in the Baron Palace’s garden, Heliopolis, to blend civilizations and cultures between countries.

Gouter, which is co-sponsored by Al-Ahram Establishment and Al-Ahram Advertising Agency, will be held under the auspices of Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled El-Anani

The event calls on countries worldwide to get to know each other in addition to be harmonized and peaceful under the slogan "One world, many cultures."

Each country is scheduled to offer some activities throughout the one-day event, including serving and tasting the most famous traditional dishes as well as presenting performances, including some arts, popular and folk dances.

Moreover, there will be exhibits of traditional handicrafts which each country is famous for.

The cultural event is scheduled to be attended by Egypt’s intellectuals, media professionals, statesmen, senior writers and artists, as well as foreign residents of all nationalities.
