Egypt reports 234 new coronavirus cases, 5 deaths on Friday
329 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 237,385, the health ministry said

Egypt reported 234 new coronavirus cases on Friday, bringing the total infection tally officially to 287,393 since the outbreak began in February 2020, said the Health Ministry in its daily coronavirus update statement.
The ministry also reported in its statement 5 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 16,706.
The statement added that 329 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 237,385.
