Dozens of supporters and opponents of jailed former president Hosni Mubarak have engaged in heated arguments outside the hospital he was transferred to on Tuesday night.
The former leader was moved to Maadi MIlitary Hospital from the Tora Prison Hospital due to an acute health crisis.
The heated confrontation was broken up by security guards.
Hosni Mubarak is serving a life sentence for participating in the crime of killing protesters during the 18-day uprising that toppled him from power in early 2011.
His health has been declining rapidly in recent months.
