Egypt's General Prosecution has ordered the release of 259 protestors, a judicial official told Al-Ahram Arabic portal.

The protestors were arrested while participating in the demonstrations that took place on January 25. The prosecution ordered the release of 166 protestors in Cairo and 93 in Alexandria.
