In a post on his official social media accounts, El-Sisi wrote that he “received with great interest a collection of outcomes from the National Dialogue, which varied between legislative proposals and executive measures, across all political, economic, and societal aspects.”

“I affirm that they will be referred to the relevant state authorities for examination and implementation within the scope of my legal and constitutional powers and any necessary legislative amendments will be submitted to the House of Representatives for consideration.”

President El-Sisi also extended his gratitude and appreciation to all participants involved in preparing and formulating these outcomes.

For their part, the National Dialogue’s Board of Trustees extended its sincere gratitude and appreciation to President El-Sisi for his immediate response in receiving the proposals.

The board also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of all rapporteurs and participants in the dialogue, who worked towards achieving consensus and formulated recommendations for the betterment of the nation.

Earlier Wednesday, the board held a meeting to review the proposals before submitting them to the president.

In a statement on Tuesday, General Coordinator of the National Dialogue Diaa Rashwan explained that 13 out of 19 committees under the dialogue have finalized their specific proposals.
