Ministers and officials to participate in the second round of the National Dialogue: PM Madbouly

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said ministers and officials would participate in the second round of the National Dialogue, which focuses on the economic challenges facing Egypt.

Madbouly reviewed in a meeting with members of the National Dialogue board of trustees, headed by the dialogue's coordinator, Diaa Rashwan, the current economic challenges facing Egypt and the efforts of the government to overcome them.

Rashwan pointed out that a group has already been formed to coordinate with the government on following up on the implementation of the outcomes of the first phase of the dialogue.

The National Dialogue sessions on the economic axis will kick off on Monday at the National Training Academy (NTA) in Cairo, member of the dialogue council Gamal El-Keshkey announced on Saturday.

The sessions will be held for four days, from Monday to Thursday, and shall focus on the economy in terms of its connection to the lives of citizens.

In addition, the dialogue will issue recommendations concerning the budget, inflation, social justice, and investments.

In January, President Abdel-Fatah El-Sisi called for the launch of a second round of the National Dialogue to tackle the current economic challenges facing the Egyptian economy.
