On 18 December 2023, the head of the National Elections Authority (NEA) announced President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi's victory in the presidential elections after obtaining 39,702,000 votes, with a percentage of 89.6 percent.
El-Sisi's new presidential term lasts six years until 2030.
According to the NEA, the Presidential elections saw a turnout of 66.8 percent, with 44.7 million citizens voting at home and abroad out of 67.3 million eligible voters.
