The president is scheduled to commence his official duties from the Presidential Palace in the new capital after taking the constitutional oath and completing his inauguration ceremony for a third term, which commences on 3 April.

The memorial monument is located at the square corner opposite the Presidential Palace.
It is designed with a Pharaonic style in terms of columns and decorations.
The monument also comprises two arches, one eastern and one western.
Each arch consists of 42 circular columns - 21 front and 21 rear - designed as a lotus flower and bearing the 99 names of God Almighty.
It also comprises 34 square columns -17 front and 17 rear -inscribed with the names of Egyptian martyrs.
