Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced on Monday that public employees will take a six-day break from Saturday 15 June to Thursday 20 June to celebrate the Muslim feast of Eid Al-Adha.

Last week, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi accepted on Monday the resignation of Mostafa Madbouly’s government, reappointing Madbouly as prime minister to form a new cabinet.

According to a presidential statement, El-Sisi assigned the outgoing government to continue performing its duties until the new government is formed.

This is the fourth cabinet reshuffle under Madbouly, who has been serving as premier since June 2018.

The last ministerial reshuffle was in August 2022, comprising 13 portfolios.

El-Sisi was elected for a third term in December 2023 and started the new term in April.
