President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.
The president extended his greetings to the Egyptian people, military, police, and workers across all sectors on this occasion.
"11 years ago, Egyptians demonstrated their strength and resolve, proving they were "stronger than their enemies could imagine," he wrote on his social media accounts.
El-Sisi asserted that Egyptians are now setting a remarkable example of determination, unity, and perseverance in overcoming and turning crises into successes.
Furthermore, the president reaffirmed that Egypt is unwaveringly committed to overcoming all its challenges.
On 30 June 2013, millions of Egyptians took to the streets, demanding the ousting of then-President Mohamed Morsi.
This date has since been a national holiday in Egypt.
