New Egypt cabinet takes oath before President Sisi

30 ministers took oath before President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly took the oath before President El-Sisi, extending his tenure that began in June 2018.

Kamel El-Wazir, the Minister of Transport since March 2019, took the oath before President El-Sisi, as Minister of Industry and Transport. Additionally, he will serve as the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development.

Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar took the oath as the Minister of Health and Population, extending his tenure in this position since August 2022. Abdel-Ghaffar will also serve as the Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development.

General Abdel-Meguid Saqr took the oath before the president as Minister of Defence and Military Production, succeeding General Mohamed Zaki.

Badr Abdelatty took the oath as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration and Expatriate Affairs, replacing both Sameh Shoukry of Foreign Affairs and Soha Gendi of Emigration and Expatriate Affairs.

Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology since June 2018, took the oath before the president to continue in his post.

Ashraf Sobhy took the oath before El-Sisi, extending his tenure as Minister of Youth and Sports.

Rania Al-Mashat took the oath before the president as the Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, transitioning from her previous role as the Minister of International Cooperation, which she held since 2019. She previously served as the Minister of Tourism from 2018 to 2019.

Ahmed Kouchouk took the oath as Minister of Finance, replacing Mohamed Maait.

Manal Awad Mikhail took the oath as Minister of Local Development, replacing Hisham Amna.

Sherif Farouk took the oath as Minister of Supply and Internal Trade replacing Ali Moselhi.

Usama Alazhary took the oath as Minister of Religious Endowments, replacing Mokhtar Gomaa.

Mohamed Shimy took the oath before President El-Sisi as the new Minister of Public Business Sector, succeeding Mahmoud Esmat, who became the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy in the new cabinet.

Mohamed Abdel-Latif took the oath as Minister of Education and Technical Education, replacing Reda Hegazy.

Maya Morsy took the oath as Minister of Social Solidarity, replacing Nevine El-Qabbag.

Karim Badawi took the oath as Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, replacing Tarek El-Molla.

Mahmoud Esmat took the oath as Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, replacing Mohamed Shaker.

Sameh ElHefny took the oath as Minister of Civil Aviation, replacing Abbas Helmi.

Adnan El-Fangary took the oath as Minister of Justice, replacing Omar Marwan.

Sherif El-Sherbiny took the oath as Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, replacing Assem El-Gazzar.

Hassan ElKhatib took the oath as Minister of Investment and External Trade, replacing Ahmed Samir who served as Minister of Trade and Industry.

Sherif Fathy took the oath as Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, replacing Ahmed Issa.

Alaa Farouk took the oath as the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, replacing El-Sayed El-Quseir.

Mahmoud Fawzy took the oath as Minister of the Parliamentary and Legal Affairs and Political Communication, succeeding Alaa El-Din Fouad.

Ahmed Hanno took the oath as Minister of Culture, replacing Nevine El-Kilany.

Mohamed Gobran took the oath before the president as Minister of Labour, replacing Hassan Shehata.

Mahmoud Tawfik, incumbent Minister of Interior, took the oath before President El-Sisi, remaining in this position, which he held since June 2018.

Yasmine Fouad took the oath as the Minister of Environment, retaining the post she assumed in June 2018.

Mohamed Salah El-Din took the oath as the Minister of State for Military Production, continuing in this position since August 2022.

Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research since August 2022 took the oath before the president to continue in his post in the new cabinet.

Hani Sewilam, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation took the oath before President El-Sisi to continue in his post, which he assumed in August 2022.
