President Sisi swears in new heads of State Council and Administrative Prosecution Authority

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi swore in new heads of the State Council and Administrative Prosecution Authority in Egypt on Thursday.

Counselor Ahmed Abdel-Hamid Hassan Aboud took the oath as the President of the State Council. Similarly, Counselor Abdel-Rady Ahmed Sediq Suleiman was sworn in as the President of the Administrative Prosecution Authority.

President El-Sisi also conferred the prestigious Order of the Republic, First Class, upon the outgoing President of the State Council, Counselor Adel-Fahim Azzab, and the former President of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, Counselor Hafez Ahmed Abbas.

According to the Egyptian Presidency, El-Sisi wished the new presidents of the State Council and the Administrative Prosecution Authority success, affirming the continuation of efforts to uphold the principles of the rule of law, based on justice, equality, and the protection of rights in conformity with the constitution and the law.

The President also praised the role of the esteemed judicial institutions and bodies in protecting citizens' rights and safeguarding the nation's interests.
