El-Sisi appoints new presidential adviser, Suez Canal Authority deputy chairman

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi issued two presidential decrees appointing Ahmed Saad Ali El-Shazly as Presidential Adviser for Financial Affairs and Ashraf Ibrahim Atwa Megahed as Deputy Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority.

`

 

Ahmed Saad Ali El-Shazly, a former Major General, served as the head of the Financial Affairs Authority of the Armed Forces for the past six years.

Ashraf Ibrahim Atwa Megahed, a former Vice Admiral, had served as the Commander of the Egyptian Navy since October 2022.
