Sources at the National Elections Authority (NEA) say the body is currently examining proposed voting dates for the 30 constituencies whose results were annulled by recent court rulings, both inside and outside Egypt.

The proposal remains under review by the NEA board, with a final decision expected on Tuesday.

Under the suggested timetable, voting for Egyptians abroad would take place on 8 and 9 December, while voting inside Egypt would be held on 10 and 11 December.
If run-offs are required, voting abroad would be held on 31 December and 1 January, and inside Egypt on 3 and 4 January.

The 30 constituencies annulled by court rulings span ten governorates, with the largest number concentrated in Upper Egypt and Greater Cairo. Giza tops the list with seven districts affected, followed by Minya with five and Beheira with four.

Luxor and Aswan each have three annulled constituencies, while Assiut also has three. The New Valley governorate has two cancelled districts, and Alexandria, Sohag, and Fayoum each account for one constituency.

The NEA will announce the results of the second phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections during a press conference on Tuesday.

Voting began on Monday and will continue on Tuesday for Egyptians abroad registered in the 19 constituencies whose results were annulled in the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections.
