Ahmed Shafiq, Egypt’s prime minister, declared on Tuesday that a monthly pension of LE1500 will be provided to martyrs of the January 25 revolution.

The minister of finance has accordingly declared that a list of all the martyrs’ names will be immediately formulated and the victims’ families will be notified of the necessary documents and procedures.

According to UN estimates, more than 300 people were killed during Egypt's revolt.
