About 2000 family members of political prisoners in Egypt held a demonstration in front of the office of the General Prosecutor early today.

The protesters demanded the release of all political detainees and asked the armed forces to issue a decree to release them.

The protesters held banners pleading, “To the armed forces, please have mercy on our weakness and release our sons and daughters from prison.”
