AUC students plan to march to Gaza Thursday with medical supplies and a message of solidarity

Students of the American University in Cairo (AUC) launched a campaign to collect supplies for Gaza and are planning to march there Thursday in solidarity with Palestinians after the recent escalation of violence by Israel.

AUC's Student Union (SU) and the Cairo International Model United Nations (CIMUN), who have started the campaign last Sunday, announced the collected of LE15,000 in addition to food and medical supplies.

The Red Crescent and Arab Doctors' Union are collaborating with AUC SU's donations campaign and the march to Gaza.

Students launched the awareness campaign on campus where they showed documentaries on the situation in Gaza. The awareness campaign will continue through next week as well.
