The MB candidate for Shubra filed a lawsuit with the High Administrative Court to cancel the elections in Shubra

The Muslim Brotherhood candidate for Shubra filed a lawsuit with the High Administrative Court to cancel the elections in Shubra.

Dr Hazem Farouk, who currently holds the seat in El-Sahel district of Shubra has accused the police of refusing to issue permits for his campaign delegates to monitor voting inside the polling stations on election day set for November 28.

The court is expected to issue a ruling on the case on Saturday.

Farouk, a surgeon is running for the Professional seat against Wafd member Taher Abu Zaid, the famous Ahly player and Ali Radwan from the National Democratic Party.
