Protesters continue clashes with police around Qubba presidential palace

Clashes erupted between anti- Morsi protesters and security forces around palace in eastern Cairo on Friday evening

Clashes have erupted Friday evening between anti-President Mohamed Morsi protesters and security forces and Presidential guards at Qubba presidential palace in Cairo. 

Central Security Forces used teargas to disrupt protests.

Protesters reportedly started throwing Molotov cocktail bombs at the palace gate before the guards responded with water cannons.

The confrontations between police and protesters have spilled into side streets around the palace, which is located in the residential area of Hadayek El-Qubba in east Cairo.
