New cabinet starts appointing its ministers

Mansour El-Essawy, the former governor of Minya, has been appointed minister of interior, according to the Egyptian cabinet’s official Facebook page.

Moreover, Facebook and Twitter has been rife with speculation that political analyst Amr Hamzawy is about to be appointed minister of youth. Hamzawy has denied this.
