Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy will start an Asia tour this week, beginning with a visit to India between 4 and 6 December.
Fahmy plans to meet Indian counterpart Salman Khurshid to discuss current relations, as well as issues including the Syrian crisis, the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, and nuclear proliferation, reported Al-Ahram Arabic website.
India is Egypt’s seventh largest trading partner. Trade between the two countries was valued at $4.2 billion in the fiscal year ending in June 2012.
