Two hundred Braille prints of Egypt's draft constitution were distributed at a rally organised by Egypt's liberal Free Egyptian Party in Cairo on Thursday.
The rally was attended by over 300 blind people.
Speakers at the rally included the party head Ahmed Said, as well as Salah Abdullah and Naguib Abadir, both substitute members of Egypt's 50-member constitutional amending committee.
Abadir urged the attendees to approve the draft charter set to be voted on on 14, 15 January.
Abdullah, who represented the disabled on the committee argued it is the first Egyptian constitution containing more than one article on the rights of the disabled.
The amended charter stipulates the state's obligation to safeguard the right of disabled persons and bans discrimination against them in five separate articles.
The Free Egyptians Party has called for a yes vote on the constitution.
