Egypt’s interim Prime Minister Essam Sharaf met with permanent representative of the Arab ‎League, Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Kattan, who was recently appointed as Saudi ambassador to Egypt. ‎
    
Kattan stressed during the meeting the importance of his country’s cooperation ‎ in ‎different sectors with ‎Egypt, which he described as a major strategic ally.‎
    
He also exclusively told Ahram Online that he has a plan to develop bilateral relations between ‎Saudi Arabia and Egypt, especially economic relations.‎
