The National Democratic Party's Policies Committee Chairman, Gamal Mubarak, said that the attack on the Saints Church in Alexandria will not undermine national unity. The Egyptian people, he said, will not allow any such attempt to tear apart Egypt's unity and solidarity. He said that a clear message has been sent - jointly by the government and the public - asserting that everyone behind the terrorist attack will sooner or later be brought to justice.
He expressed his sorrow and regret at what he described as a "heinous crime" and offered his condolonces to the victims' families.
