COP27-Sharm El-Sheikh PM Madbouly inspects Neama Bay development projects in South Sinai ahead of COP27
The premier's visit to Neama Bay was part of his tour of Sharm El-Sheikh to follow up on the development work and road construction to prepare the area for the UN Climate Change Conference (COP27), due to be held 6-18 November in the Red Sea resort city.
The premier was briefed by Head of Sinai Company for Hotels and Diving Clubs Samir Taha who said that Neama Bay's development started six months ago.
Taha said that the work is being carried out in compliance with international standards and in accordance with the conditions of the environment and transport ministries.
The work will allow the bay to harbour yachts and other boats that bring in tourists to take advantage of the area’s diving opportunities, he added.
Egypt has been implementing an intensive plan to make Sharm El-Sheikh, one of the most popular tourist destinations inth world, a green city ahead of the COP27.
