The Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board (ETPB) organised a cruise that will take the 17-member delegation to Ras Mohamed Protectorate, White Island, and Sharm El-Sheikh Museum.
ETPB CEO Amr El-Kady said that the tour is part of the ministry’s efforts to promote Egypt as a tourist destination in various international markets.
Islam Nabil, the ETPB Sharm El-Sheikh office director, said the members of the delegation described Sharm El-Sheikh as "a wonderful place that has an irrestibale charm."
“Some of them plan to return to Egypt]to spend their vacations with their families,” Nabil said.
He added that they also praised the efforts currently taking place in Sharm El-Sheikh to prepare for hosting the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (COP27) in November.
The second leg of the delegation's tour will involve visits to tourist sites in Cairo.
