Diver is seen inside the Salem Express Ferry wreck in Safaga, 30 meters deep below the Red Sea, during a night dive and training session. Salem Express sunk in the Red Sea on its way back to Egypt from Jeddah , Saudi Arabia in December 1991. Many people including complete families of Egyptian expats were on the board of the ferry when it sunk.

Shipwrecks have become another attraction for diving enthusiasts in the Red Sea, aside from the magnificent and colorful reef. There are nearly 17 shipwrecks available for divers to visit in tours in the Red Sea. The most famous shipwrecks attracting experienced divers are Salem Express, Giannis D and Ulysses shipwrecks.

Using a GoPro Camera , journalist and experienced diver Hossam Hamalawy took several shots of famous shipwrecks in the Red Sea.
