Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi visited on Friday at dawn the site of the under-construction megaproject Jabal El-Jalalah (El-Galala Mountain), located in the southern part of Suez governorate west of the Red Sea.
The mammoth project, which was launched in December 2015 on an area encompassing thousands of feddans, will be home to El-Jalalah City, El-Jalala Tourist Resort overlooking the Gulf of Suez, and King Abdullah Bin Abdelaziz University.
Jabal El-Jalalah is being built by 80 Egyptian companies employing 80,000 workers and engineers under the management of the Egyptian army's Engineering Authority.
