French journalists Claude Giubal and Tangi Salaun have published Tahrir's Egypt, a new book that relates events in Egypt during the 25 January Revolution. The book describes Egyptian society as it finally discovered democracy.

Both authors have been correspondents in Egypt since 1997 for the France Info radio channel and Le Figaro newspaper.

A second book about the Egyptian revolution, Roubier Soulier's The Downfall of the Pharaoh, has also been published.
