Egypt's Supreme Council for Culture will host a seminar on Wednesday 12 August at 6:00pm titled 'The Political Violence in Egypt during the first half of the 20th century.'
Historian Assem El-Dessoki, former dean of the Faculty of Arts at Helwan University and political researcher, Ammar Ali Hassan, will participate in the seminar.
The event will discuss the concept of political violence and its different incarnations and forms in Egypt during what is dubbed 'the liberal era' between the mid the 1920's until the mid 1930's.
