Today Moustafa El-Sayed, the governor of Aswan, opened a book fair hosted by the General Egyptian Book Organization (GEBO), headed by Dr. Ahmed Megahed, at Aswan Cultural Palace. The book fair will continue until Sunday, 3 July.
Dr. Megahed said the fair includes five thousand titles of GEBO's latest publications in different fields. There is a discount up to 50 per cent on some books. Other publications will be on sale for a pound each and at the family library, 20 books can be purchased for just LE5.
The book fair will open its doors for the public in two, five-hour stretches, from 10am until 2pm, and later on from 5pm until 10pm.
