The American University in Cairo’s The Insider Book Review will host Amr Moussa, who will discuss his recently published memoir Ketabeya, at the American University in Cairo (AUC), on Wednesday, 21 February, from 1 to 2pm at Moataz Al-Alfi Hall, AUC New Cairo.

Amr Moussa, is Egypt’s former Foreign Minister and former Secretary General of the Arab League.

He began his career in diplomacy in 1957, working in the Egyptian Embassy in Bern, Switzerland. He was also Egypt's deputy permanent representative to the United Nations in New York, and was later appointed Egyptian ambassador to India.

After that he became the permanent representative of Egypt to the United Nations.

The Insider, an independently produced student newspaper, presents The Insider Book Review as an opportunity for AUC students to initiate intellectual conversations and debates with authors and writers.
