The Narration Lab, a gathering for young and professional writers at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, will host the novelists, Gamalat Abdel-Latif from Suhag and Mona Said from The Red Sea.
Abdel-Latif is the author of two novels, Oh Spirit's Seeds, and The Beloved, which won the Best Novel of the Year award in 2002. She also published two short stories collections in addition to contributing to a collective book with other writers.
Said published three short stories collections, Details of a Tasty Dream, Smell of the Rain, and The Other Life, and her first novel, titled The Butterflies, is under publication.
The discussion will be joined by Ahmed Mokhtar who shares a study titled, "Storytellers from Upper Egypt".
