"Talents": New series by the Egyptian Supreme Council of Culture

A monthly book dedicated to talented writers and poets under 35

A new monthly periodical called Mawahib (Talents) will be published through the Supreme Council of Culture (SCC) with Khalil El-Guizawy as editor-in-chief; the project has been approved by Saied Tawfiq, the Secretary General of the SCC. The periodical will be dedicated to publishing work by talented poets and writers from the new generation, and will be managed through the Department of Literary Affairs.

According to El-Guizawy, contributing to this series will be restricted to talented individuals below the age of 35; a contribution must be in formal Arabic within the limit of 70 pages, not previously published and not submitted for publishing anywhere else, including electronically. The contributor will be asked to submit an official statement confirming this fact.

The material should be submitted in person to the office of the SCC Literary Affairs in 44 Mesaha St, Dokki.
