Ahmed Mourad reveals details about his upcoming novel in a Facebook Live tonight

Ahmed Mourad will meet his fans tonight in a Facebook Live on his publisher's facebook page at 9:00pm to reveal details about his upcoming novel (Bats Well Motel)

Dar El-Shorouk Publishing house, will host a live event on Facebook for the Egyptian renowned writer, Ahmed Mourad, tonight 15 July at 9:00pm to discuss his upcoming novel Locandet Beer El-Wataweet (Bats Well Motel).

The novel was announced a few weeks ago and is yet to be published. It is expected that Mourad will reveal details about his new novel, which is the seventh in his writing career.

Mourad first came to fame in 2007 with his novel Vertigo, which was adapted into a TV series in 2012. Vertigo was translated into English, Italian and German.  His second novel Turab El-Mass (Diamond Dust), was released in 2010 and was on top of the best-selling books list for a long time and was adapted into a movie in 2018.

In 2012 he released his third novel El-Feel El-Azraq (The Blue Elephant), which was shortlisted for the Arabic Booker Prize in 2014 and adapted into a movie that starred Egyptian actor Karim Abdel-Aziz in 2014 and its sequel Blue Elephant 2, which was released in 2019.

Mourad, 42, earned his degree from the Higher Institute for Cinema in Cairo in 2001.
