Dr Mustapha Sabaai examines Islamic Socialism in the third edition of his book published by the General Authority of Cultural Palaces

The third edition of Islamic Socialism by Dr Mustapha Sabaai has been published by the General Authority of Cultural Palaces, under the chairpersonship of the poet Abdel-Rahman Saad.

The book examines socialism as an intellectual concept developed by a group of Muslim intellectuals who pay attention to the exploitation of the working class by the bourgeoisie from a religious perspective.

Sabaai tackles several important topics, such as the attitude of religion towards poverty, natural rights, principles of ownership, laws of social solidarity, views of Westerners, and the remaining vestiges of socialism within Islamic societies.
